Hi ! I'm Burton Smith. I've been an ebayer since the early days. I'm a U.S. Federal employee of 35 years (National Geodetic Survey, NOAA). I'm a proud member of the Ebay Users Stamp Club.
My interests are:
- stamp collecting (worldwide to 1960)
- duckpin bowling
- geology (not to be confused with geodesy)
- comics (Jonah Hex, Hellboy/BPRD, Doom Patrol are my current faves)
- raising a female teenager
- astronomy
I spent my "hippie" days attending Frostburg State University (then College)(Go Bobcats!) in the early 1970's. I blame my geography professors for my interest in geology. I blame my dad for my interest in duckpin bowling. I blame the U.S. government for my interest in geodesy. (geesh, you gotta blame somebody, right?)
