Welcome to the Oneida County, Government Surplus Area of e-bay. In this new age of computers, we sell all of our surplus property by using e-bay. We hope you will enjoy some of the strange items that may appear on our auctions. The County of Oneida - Purchasing Division is responsible for the disposal of all surplus personal property of the County of Oneida. In a typical year we dispose of items obtained from agencies throughout the county. These items include: cars, trucks, highway maintenance equipment, computers, office furniture, medical equipment, cameras, restaurant equipment, electrical, plumbing, tools, generators, compressors, used tires and scrap metal.
NEW: We now have authorization to extend the County’s e-Bay website service to
other municipalities and not-for-profit agencies, so if you would like us to see for you please feel free to ask.

Our main office is located just off exit 31 of the NYS Thruway (I-90) in Utica.
Directions:Take exit #31/UTICA (I-790) toward GENESEE ST SOUTH/DOWNTOWN UTICA/GENESEE ST, Turn Right on N GENESEE ST, Turn Left on JAY ST, Turn Right on JOHN ST, Bear Right on PARK AVE and Arrive at 800 PARK AVE, UTICA, on the Right.

Terms & Conditions
All items are sold "As Is-Where Is". The buyer is responsible for picking up all purchased merchandise from our Utica, Oriskany or Rome, NY locations. We may offer shipping (USPS Priority Mail) on small items (see item details) Successful bidders will be provided specific directions to our site locations. Full payment (including New York State sales tax of .0875) is due within five (5) business days of notice of award. NY State Tax is collected unless tax exempt. Further information about tax exempt status can be provided to the winning bidder. Payment may be made by money order , cash or Paypal (see item description) and should be made payable to "Oneida County" and mailed to (Oneida County Purchasing, 3rd Floor, Utica, NY 13501). We recommend potential bidders look at the item for sale prior to bidding. Viewing arrangements can be made by contacting the Purchasing Office for further details.
