PahloArt Refinery & Gallery Front view of the facitliy Art for just about everyone or anything! The Pahlo Center is a community arts center geared toward providing space for artists to display and create their work. Gallery showing run year round in the various hallways open every Saturday 10am-4pm and upon request for tours. You can view past shows at www.pahloart.com. Proceeds for this ebay seller go to further this institution. In October of 2004 my wife and I purchased the abandoned Fitzgibbon hospital in Marshall, Mo. Our goal is to create an incubator for art in the central Missouri area. Last year we opened our first show as the Pahlo Center. In the old hospital rooms area artists have adopted, remodeled and display their pieces. To date we have 13 completed rooms representing 21 artists, with 3 rooms under construction and only 5 left available. Our goal is presentation, not profit. We only take commission on sold pieces to help with utilities. Friends of the Pahlo Center are now officially incorporated as a non profit and seeking their 501C3. Our current mission, in addition to providing space for artists, is to develop Mid-Missouri's finest hands-on Children Art Museum. We have 50,000 sq feet with only 15,000 in use by the artists now, so we have lots of room to grow. We have 2 hands on displays on the drawing board, one to be created in Art Camp. Our first Pahlo Center Art Camp for ages 6-12 the week of June 12 is coming up as the first forward motion in the Children Museum endeavor.
