Born
and raised in Idaho, I have lived in
Idaho
all my life except for a short period of a year and a half where I lived in
Louisiana. I have traveled all over the U.S. and have taken hundreds of
pictures. I am a lifetime painter whose love of watercolors and acrylics
started in 2000 and has grown into a full time occupation.

In 2002, after graduating from
Boise State University, my husband I sold our home of 20 years in Boise,
Idaho, and bought a new house in Caldwell, Idaho with a sun room attached to
the back which I have devoted exclusively to a Studio and business office.
My art
education was obtained while attending Boise State University and receiving a
Bachelor of Arts degree, as well
as many books over many years, and thousands of hours spent at drawing and
painting.
With several paintings in various collections world wide, I strive to
have a great variety in my choice of subjects. It might be a landscape
or seascape, an old wood fence, a portrait, an animal, or
simply a simple flower; but whatever
the subject, the main interest is always in 1) design, and 2) value & color.
Although I have
attended many formal art education classes since high school, I started my art
education very early in life by drawing my favorite teen idols and making
everything from string art to collages.
I
first started selling on eBay in 1998 just to get rid of a bunch of stuff I
had collected but no longer needed. It also helped me to finance my way
through college. I still have a great variety of miscellaneous items
that I sell besides my art, but I now sell them under a different eBay ID and
the Pamela DuBois Gallery is strictly my art gallery.
I appreciate
your interest in my art and hope you find something that sparks your
interest to add to your collection.
Below is a collection of several photos I have taken over the years which also inspire my painting. I love to take photos and have sold several on eBay as well.
