Howdy-- Welcome to my page! I'm glad you stopped in. Quite frankly, though, you'll learn a lot more about what I do at my own website, which features pages about my own collecting interests as well as net price lists of other items I have for sale. You might also wish to take a look at my Postcard Primer and my Stamp and Postmark Primer. They are written to introduce philatelists to some postcard-collecting terminology, and to introduce non-philatelists to the stamps and postmarks they might expect to see on vintage postcards. |

I collect a lot of philatelic stuff, but not generally the same material that I sell. My major collection at the moment is Ohio Postal History--particularly stampless covers, Doane cancels, and machine cancels--you can see more about most of this at my own webpage, linked above. US machine cancels are a fascinating, yet inexpensive field. I'll try and get a page up about them but until then I simply encourage you to look into the field.
I also have a topical exhibit of "Ohio and Ohioans in Philately" that was shown at Stampshow '99 in Cleveland and will return for Stampshow 2003 in Columbus.
My newest project is a gallery of Ohio Stampless Covers which includes a decent quality scan of every stampless cover in my collection, available by town and county. This is an Ohio Postal History Society project; feel free to submit your covers if you'd like.
I also collect pre-1940 Worldwide stamps, though with widely varying degrees of activity. At the moment I have a taste for German colonies and number ones.

What's Going On
I practice antitrust, business competition, intellectual property, and e-commerce law with Cleveland-based law firm Thompson Hine & Flory LLP. I'm also the proud "father" of Zeke who joined the family in mid-August 199. I have also assumed the editorship of the Ohio Postal History Journal, the quarterly page publication of the Ohio Postal History Society. Please ask me for details.
