My Little 3 pound Helper..Riley Bug

As long as I can remember I have had a love for animals....big and small! :)

I'm a chihuahua owner, so I know how our pets become a part of the family and they tend to pull at our heart strings.  They fill our lives with such joy and happiness.....unconditional love.

I am a self-taught artist. I started drawing at a very young age. It has always been a dream of mine to have my work noticed.

 To this day I can't imagine what it would be like if I wasn't creating my little toons of animals. 

I have a several different styles in drawing & painting.   I love to create Whimsical animals.....cartoon style and then I also create Realism characters.  

 I  focus mainly on facial expressions.  My repeat Art collectors tell me they love the way I capture the look in the eyes and the facial expressions.

I'm always open to new ideas or suggestions.  I create alot of custom drawings, so please don't hesitate to ask.    

 I have had some cartoon panels published in a local newspaper and my artwork has been accepted into some local galleries.  

 In 2007, I entered an online contest to design a Missouri Lottery scratch off ticket.  There was nearly 2,500 submissions.  It was narrowed down to 5 winners.  I am pleased to say I was one of them!! :) 

I'm currently in the process of creating some children book and greeting card illustrations.

My artwork can be found all over the country, such as homes, offices, daycares and  businesses. 

  It  has become a full-time job for me, so I am currently staying at home with my youngest child while working on my newest creations.  

  So, between the everyday household chores, tending to my son and our pets.....I draw as much as I can.
