Hi! We are a Canadian/Dutch couple living in the Foothills of Tibet. I am a stay home mom and a homeschooler of 5 children: Lily-8, Peter-7, Yvonne-6, Susanna-3 and Timothy-1.5.
PLATEAU baby shoes are hand-stitched, and are crafted from soft durable, hand-tanned, washable sheepskin leather where no chemicals are used which would destroy the local environment. A layer of sheep’s natural FLEECE (EXCEPT for the summer shoes/sandals) keeps those little toes cozy yet breathable in all seasons. The baby shoes are held on your child’s foot gently but firmly through elastic sewn into the back.
