As a seller

When I sell a game, you can count on my accurate description of what is being offered and the condition it is in.

I always get at least one guide to each of my games. What would really avoid frustration on my part and for others I am sure is for sellers of Guides and other “soft” game articles to be responsible and to pack for shipping in ways that protect the condition of what we purchase.  Too often a lazy seller will default with the lame comment, “I am not responsible for what the Post Office does.”  It doesn’t take much thought to protect corners and spines of “mint” guides and maps with supportive or cushioning packing.

When I sell, you can be assured that every effort will be taken to protect your purchase from the wild and woolly Post Office and other possible bumps and bruises on the way to you. It just brings down the value of the book.

To you my Reader, I have a question.

            “How can a seller who has, say over 200 or even over 2000 feedbacks and only give out less than a hundred?” They will even mention feedback in the auction!

In closing, I continue with Ebay because there are far more honest people out there, than the people living their lives without integrity for a buck. Ebay is a wonderful community of people and you can have a lot of fun with a little thought and care when reading a person's auction. Make sure you read the description and the shipping rates thoroughly; put your zip code if there is a place for it. You will be surprised what some sellers are doing. So far, I have seen my shipping rate be $20.00, $25.00, to $60.00 for a game!

Update: I have seen some sellers putting important information in their ME page. For instance, I bought a game awhile back and it said “Excellent condition, very close to Near Mint” so I thought, "why not"? When I received it there where so many scratches and a gouge too, along with 3 notes taped to back of the manual. I looked at his ME area and there is where he decided to put what Excellent, Near Mint meant to him. It is horrible to see some sellers being sneaky like this, and now I always look just to make sure and I am glad I do.
