About The Seller . . .

I have had a long time love of things ancient and of coins. My maternal grandfather was a collector of American coins. He sat me down at a very early age with some wheat pennies, buffalo nickels and mercury dimes and taught me how to sort them by date and mintmarks and bought me my 1st Redbook a few years later when I turned 10. I had 2 male cousins who also collected coins and we shared this as boys do when we were young.

I studied Greek and Hebrew at Bethany Lutheran College and also attended Minnesota State University in Mankato, Minnesota where I took a broad smattering of classes on the topics of religion, philosophy, political science and anthropology.

I have been quite active in the collectors rights movement and am a recipient of the ACCG's Exceptionally Meritorious Service Award which I received from Wayne G. Sayles at the 2006 Chicago International Coin Fair for helping gain support for coin collectors rights within the political process in my home state of Wisconsin.
