Cookie Cutters
Not all of the HRM Cookie Cutters have the HRM Crown and Made in USA on them. The ones that do not have this are cookie cutter molds that were from Loma of Ft Worth. Loma sold to HRM in 1961. HRM continued to make them but without the Crown and Made in USA and they took the Loma Ft. Worth off of the molds. These are truly HRM cookie cutters. Older versions of the same cutter prior to 1961 will have the Loma Ft. Worth on the cutter.
Care of Cookie Cutters
Wash plastic cookie cutters by hand (never put in dishwasher) in a mild non-abrasive soap with a soft brush. An old toothbrush works perfectly to get in all those little spaces and grooves. Rinse well in cool water and air dry on paper towels or dishcloths. Store them wrapped in tissue paper, plastic wrap or paper towels to avoid scratching in the drawer. I store mine wrapped in plastic cling wrap and in a clear rectangular Tupperware containers. This way I am able to see the cutter and do not have to unwrap a bunch to find the one I want.
