When I first started out I had no intention of selling room sprays or fragrance oils. As with any small business that starts at home, we often start somewhere else. I started out making potpourri, as I wasn't really thrilled with what was out there. I like things simple. Just a few items. Then one of my customers asked if I would sell her fragrance oil. I discovered I really enjoyed blending my own scents, and that I am good at it. That expanded in to room sprays, and now into body sprays. I thoroughly research a product before I add it, so rest assured I have done my homework if it shows up here.

I also love a good bargain. I am one of those "never pay full price for anything" kind of people. I try to bring you quality pieces at fair prices. If I carry it, I can guarantee that the quality is there.

I wish I could say that I inspect every piece of merchandise that I offer as it comes into my home. That would be unrealistic. If you purchase the last item and I find it is not up to my standards, I have been known to offer it to my customers way below cost. I would rather lose a sale than send out substandard merchandise. So shop with confidence knowing that every item will be checked before it goes out to you.

When I was young, my sisters and I used to grumble and whine that we didn't have an Easy Bake oven or toy sewing machines. My mother and grandmother made us use the "real" thing. Little did I know how good that would be for me in the future. I love creating my handcrafted items to be enjoyed by others. I could never hold on to everything that I create, and knowing that someone else is enjoying it gives me immense pleasure.
