We at Scandinavian Galleries LLC are happy to be the new sole importer and seller of LITTKE N-Modelle in the USA.
LITTKE N-Modelle are at this time producing over thirty different N scale model trucks in different colors and liveries.
After many years of producing high quality models for other manufacturers (e.g. Faller) LITTKE N-Modelle started in 2002 to produce their own products under their own name. Their products are made to very exact standards in colored plastic with extra attention to detail. Small attached parts, like rear view mirrors and trailer hitches are metal etch or CNC produced metal parts.

Marklin 1 Gauge - High-quality raw materials and strict production quality are the things you notice immediately when encountering Mklin's "royal size" for the first time. These reliable "giants" among model railroads have conquered their place in the hearts of collectors and enthusiasts with special fidelity to detailing, metal frames and precise drive mechanisms on select models.
MAXI - Now 1 Gauge has acquired an addition to the family: With Maxi the enjoyment of playing is making its entry into the 45 mm (1-3/4") gauge. This new railroad unites playing "as it was in the good old days" with the latest Mklin technology. Maxi has a high-quality exterior of sturdy sheet steel - a loving memory of the long tradition of sheet metal workmanship at Mklin. Moreover, the use of the DELTA or the Digital system, also with 1 Gauge, gives Maxi all the advantages of these controls.
The track system is protected against rust and can be laid down not only in your home, but also in the yard or patio - ideal for the whole family to play with. In addition to the attractive starter set, there are other locomotives and cars available for Maxi. This railroad can thus grow with the enthusiasm for playing and/or the size of the family.
Maxi is a railroad for people in search of the experience, and it's the railroad you can really play with. Ideal in size, easy to set up and take down, with a sturdy, weather resistant track system for indoors and outdoors, with the latest model railroad technology for all sorts of action.
Maxi is play experience right from the start. Unpack, set it up, already to go - and the world around you becomes a fantasy land. Because Maxi does not need a table or a board; with a scale of 1:32 Maxi is just the right size. Big enough to play with on any flat surface, on the floor, the carpet or the patio. Small enough to create a world rich in experiences, even in a child's playroom. The technology is appropriately sturdy: Maxi locomotives and cars are made entirely of metal, the wheels are die cast metal, the bodies are made of strong precisely formed sheet metal given a high quality paint finish. The heavy weight improves pulling power and operating characteristics, and the metal rattling of the wheels over the rails creates a real railroad atmosphere.
Typically Mklin: With the DELTA multi-train system you can simultaneously control four locomotives independently of each other. Take note: with only one track circuit and without extensive wiring you can control four locomotives. The necessary receivers are already built into the Maxi locomotives. All that you need is a DELTA Station to which you connect as many as four hand controllers.
Locomotives include:
Outdoor layouts - regardless of whether they are stationary or temporary, have their own special appeal - and their special rules for caring of locomotives and track. The track should be clean and dry to guarantee trouble free operation of the wheels. Locomotives should also be kept clean and dry. The finish on Maxi trains is much like an automobile, so they can take some abuse from the weather, but do not leave them out overnight and dry them off when they get wet. Maintenance and caring for the trains can be as much fun as running them.
Compatibility - Maxi and Mklin's 1 Gauge trains operate on 45 mm track (1 gauge track). The height of the rail is not as tall as other large gauge trains but the trains will operate on the tracks of LGB, and other large scale manufacturers because they all use 45 mm as the standard gauge. At the present time, the coupler system of Maxi is not compatible with anything other than Mklin's 1 Gauge trains. |
