I've always loved history and collecting and vintage photographs combine both of these beautifully. There are so many stories in these old photos, from the stiffly posed cabinet card to the goofy 1960s snapshot....each has a story behind it. When I discovered that people were selling off their family photos I decided to rescue them and as my collection grew, and I found that I wasn't alone in this hobby, I began to sell them along with the postcards I was already selling on Ebay. I love that the photos are being cared for and appreciated once again, if not by their original owners by appreciative new "families" and collectors. I'm certain that the subjects would be amused that they have lived on in this way!

I am the proud Mom of a Coastie who is a helicopter flight mechanic, Mother-in-Law of a wonderful young woman who's a nurse, and Grandmother to sweet Cameron Marcus. I enjoy riding horses, reading, gardening & learning. I am a Christian, and try hard to put God first in my life, of course I struggle, but knowing Jesus brings great joy to my journey. I so enjoy the wonderful people that I've come to know through Ebay and hope to continue this until I can't sit up at the computer anymore....hopefully that's a long way down the road!
