Returns/Trade In Product

These are units that have been returned to the store by the original buyer or traded in to the manufacturer for an upgrade. These units could have been refurbished by the manufacturer after they were returned or traded in. These units pass through several stages in this process so may have cosmetic light scratches due to the process or wear due to the condition it was returned in. We grade the wear in one of three categories.
Light. These would be light scratches on the case of the unit. They would be subtle, but noticeable.
Moderate. These units will have more obvious wear. Scratches will be deeper or larger than light wear. This unit will look somewhat used.
Extensive. Units graded like this will be extensively worn and look very used. They will be fully functional unless otherwise noted.
The above applies strictly to cosmetic evaluations. Note that on PDAs and laptops, any marks or scratches on the LCDs will be noted specifically. Any damage or functional issues will also be listed and noted specifically on the auction page. We are very meticulous in noting damage or functional defects.
An important note store returns. We test each item carefully at our facility. But like all companies, we will on occasion make mistakes. In the event we do, please contact us immediately. We have a 30-day guarantee to cover such contingencies. We will replace or repair your purchase, or provide a full refund, all at no cost to you in the event of a functional problem we did not catch in our tests.

Refurbished

These are units that have been restored to original factory functional specifications by the manufacturer or by Pacific Global. In some cases.

New in the Box

If we have brand new items, we will list them as such. This means that are new in the box, sealed and will not have been opened or tested. It's as if you picked it up off the shelf at a store.
