Hi there! After three years, I am finally "brave" enough to put myself up to public view on a "me" page. I live with my wife and two children near Kingston, N.Y., in the "America's First River" valley of the Hudson River, about halfway between New York City and Albany. After time with my family, at work, with our three cats, and arguing with God about growing grass in my yard, I enjoy spending time working on my stamps and more lately, working on our family genealogy, a bug I caught from my late Aunt Helen. As I get smarter on this computer with this HTML stuff, I hope to present more photos about my stamps and my life, and (hopefully) links to my family tree and pictures. My aunt's little brother was named "Grove" (my father). . . could be handy info, if you're so inclined. I also hope to sell off my duplicate stamps, 30 years of movie posters, and lots of other junk I don't need or want any more (but that some other guy thinks is a treasure!) |

Ruminations of Surviving into the 21st Century: (or How The only good luck in life is what you create yourself. Same with the bad. Life is too short . . . . don't waste it. Know what battles are worth fighting and which are worth avoiding. Have the wisdom to keep them apart. Nobody every said that Truth was pretty . . . or that Life is fair. The only good luck in life is what you create yourself. Same with the bad. If it ain't a problem, don't turn it into one. And the Kindergarten Teacher was right: the Hokey-Pokey really IS what it's all about.
And in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make
