are artists A E Ruffing, Elizabeth Ruffing, Max Bailey, and Abby
Laurence and "Ruffing's" is our studio. We work together, sharing our
ideas,
our expertise, and sometimes even our art materials! We
create
original watercolor and acrylic paintings, fine art giclee prints,
original one-of-a-kind folk art dolls, and OOAK art quilts. Come

| We
are always busy at work with something new and our blog is the best way
to keep up with our creations as they are completed. You can even get

Our

You can browse by category, and see our hand-sculpted, jointed dolls,
or our art doll figurines, or our soft dolls and toys. We even have a
category for our adopted dolls, where you can read some of the stories
we've written about them and see their photos. All of our dolls are
original and one-of-a-kind. We are adding more dolls and their stories
all the time. We've been told that sometimes parents even come over to
read our doll stories to their children, and look at the pictures
together.

| We are a
family-run business, and we are artists ourselves. We have been in the
art business for over forty years, creating and publishing our own
work, and licensing our work to other companies for a wide variety of
products. We are located in the heart of North Carolina's Piedmont
Region, midway between the Blue Ridge Mountains, and the ocean
beaches of the Atlantic coast.

| All
of our giclée prints are individually handmade
by us, one at a time, as they are ordered. They are not mass-produced.
Our print
editions are printed as they are ordered, and the final number produced
is determined at the artist's discretion. They are printed in a limited
number. |

| We are careful to make every
one of our giclées as faithful to the original painting as
possible, and each one is hand signed by the artist.

Our
giclées are printed on archival quality 100% cotton, acid-free fine art
paper or canvas, using archival-quality pigment-based inks. Our art
paper is a heavy 300gsm weight with a matte finish. Canvas editions are
also available for some of our images upon request.

| We
take pride in participating in every step of the printmaking process.
That way we can assure the quality of every print. We have a variety of
images, cats, dogs, other animals, florals, scenes, angels, fairies,
and other fantasy art, as well as a selection of original
art.
