SCOTTIE KINGDOM RESCUE, INC.

SCOTTIE KINGDOM RESCUE, INC. is a 501(c)(3) Non Profit Organization based in Dallas - Ft. Worth.  We accept surrendered Scottish Terriers and West Highland Terriers into our Rescue Program to find them a new, "Forever Home".  We understand those circumstances which may occur, such as relocation, illness, birth of an infant or a death in the family, which could result in the placement of a Scottie or Westie into our Rescue Program.  Once a pet has been medically cared for, and we are assured that he/she is ready to be placed into a new home, SKR will screen and match perspective owners with an appropriate pet.  This includes an application process and home visits.  Only then is the pet placed in his new, "Forever Home".


Scottie Kingdom Rescue, Inc. is operated entirely by Volunteers, who do not accept any salary.  Rescuing un-wanted pets is expensive, but well worth the effort, when the dog is placed in a new, "Forever Home".  It's a winning situation for all involved.  The pet's life is saved (in many cases) from euthanasia, and a family receives a loving pet that will be a member of the family for many years.
