About Share-Your-Wares and Street Faires...
Share-Your-Wares and Street Faires are a fun way for members of eBay's online community to play, sell, and shop together. Share-Your-Wares topics (threads)
are set up on The Park discussion board. During Street Faires all the category-related boards participate together, and each board is linked to below. Sellers are allowed to post up to two items on each thread along with a short little story or explanation of why and how their items fit with the day's theme. (See the right side bar for more rules & etiquette.)
Each event starts at 14:00 sharp, eBay time!! Assuming Elfie doesn't find his way to Rizal's computer first... =)
Caution: Play at your own risk! eBay is not responsible for missing choklit or socks.

On Monday, May 1st, at 14:00 PDT, The Park will join with selected category boards for a Share-Your-Wares event we hope you will all enjoy! Theme: Mother's Day Gift Ideas!
What better way to show our appreciation for everything moms do than to give them their own Street Faire! If you have a gift idea for that special mother in your life (mother, grandmother, godmother, step-mother, etc.), please share that with us! Hooray for mom!
And don't forget it's also BIN night! Items in the Buy It Now, Fixed Price or Stores format are always welcome!

Rules & Etiquette
- Each user will be allowed to post TWO of their own listings that fit into that week's theme. The event lasts for 24 hours and then the thread will be "read only" for the rest of the week.
- Sellers must post only with the selling id connected with the item(s). We request members stick to two items per person (not per User ID).
- Please post links to your items or URLs. (To do this, simply copy and paste the exact URL of the item page into your post.) Feel free to include pictures of your items, but please size them down as a courtesy to our friends on dial-up.
- Go to your seller's list and click on the item from there. This will give you a much shorter URL to use in your post.
- Themes are a fun way to spice things up! They set the stage for good story-telling and a lot of laughs. Post a line or two about how your item ties in with the current theme.
- In long threads, you may refresh your items once. A replacement item can always be posted should one of your items sell.
- On "BIN" nights, items posted should be in Buy-It-Now, Fixed Price, or Stores format. (many "BIN nights" offer alternative themes you can use instead.) If your BIN item sells or receives a bid, you can post another!
 Elfie's Friendly Tips
Tip #1 Remember! The most important part of Share-Your-Wares is the food ..choklit.. er.. comaraderie and fun!
Tip #2 Themes are fun..especially when the theme is "Things an
Elf would like." Elfie doesn't think they do that one enough.
[*whisper* Don't be afraid to "push the envelope" with your story to get your item to fit the theme. The Pinks hate that. heee.... ]
Tip #3 As with any party, food is very important! [Elves love choklit.] Bring your favorite dish, but don't be late or you'll be stuck on clean up crew!
Tip #4 Did I mention elves love choklit? Please do not listen to the Pinks who might tell you not to feed the adorable Elves you might encounter.
