Grading is no joke. You want great sound quality then welcome to my house. Most all my vinyls play excellent and better but I still list pretty much everything as VERY GOOD. Here's a specific breakdown of all condition grades that I use.
VINYL GRADING SCALE:
SEALED: This condition is very self explanatory. This term is used for records that have never been opened and are still in the shrink wrap.
GREAT: Supreme quality records that are like new or new records that are not sealed. Maybe played once or twice.
VERY GOOD: Shows minor signs of play and performs perfect or near perfect. May have slight warp, possible writing, sticker or tape may be present. In other words there are a few minor imperfections otherwise it would be considered GREAT condition.
GOOD: Shows average use maybe a bit more. As expected more wear will be evident and some noise will be present such as some pops or static. Possible slight warp, writing, tape or stickers may be present.
DECENT: Shows much wear, excessive noise throughout with a few factors such as static, pops, hiss, possible slight warp and possible writing on label. The grooves will be still very full of sound and vibrant. I seldom list anything of this condition but if I do it's usually something scarce, rare or hard to find.
FAIR: Shows much wear, excessive noise throughout such as heavy pops, heavy static, hiss, slight warps, writing on label and other possible defect. This grade is the equivalent of DECENT but much more severe. *This grade is previously known as ACCEPTABLE and has been changed because ebay now classifies all records as condition: ACCEPTABLE (edited 10/19/09)
UNACCEPTABLE: Shows much wear, possible skip or skips and excessive noise throughout. If you want records like these you'll have to go through my garbage because I throw them out.

To me, bad records are not worth it to list. It's not worth it to me or anyone else. I know what it's like to get a bad record or a misrepresented record which is why I give such a valiant effort to give you quality. It's nice when you get something better than expected. Furthermore, every record is inspected before listing and again before shipping to assure that you're going to be happy. So aside from the new covers, new paper inserts, new polybags, new Lp box mailer, top service and top quality, ask yourself who else provides this? Sure this stuff might not seem like a big deal and it actually should be expected when buying a record however very few sellers offer this if anyone. Consider it a final touch that just makes your record buying experience an even better one!
You will always get a much nicer than advertised item and you will be very pleased with the quality.

I want your 5 stars! I want you to learn the level of cost, expense and what goes into your purchase. Research what it cost to list and sell an item, see what your time is worth to type and research one ad, check tracking cost, find cost of tape and cost of ink to print packing labels also the cost of paper this is printed on, research cost of a new Lp mailer, the cost of new replacement paper inserts, research the cost of a new poly bag and research shipping costs for these shipping materials, research what your time would be worth to stand at the post office for 30+ minutes a few times a week, research gas expenses, learn actual shipping rates and also research competitive value and competitive shipping rates of your purchase. Go to your post office and see how close my price is to actual! I'm overly fair. I also know how important it is to get your item fast which is why I ship more than a few times a week. Realize "media mail" is slow, if you want speed then go with "priority mail". My shipping time is quick but please take into consideration that I do not drive the mail truck. Did you know that for 2 full years now I've shipped everyday consistently without miss and still I could not earn full 5 star status? Holy Moley! Buy from someone who tries harder than most! Before you give me less than 5 stars know that I strive for your high rating.

As a dj I paid a lot of money for many of these records some upwards of $100+ and that was a long time ago! Every vinyl listed is heavily researched so you know you're getting a good value. I find the market averages and offer you a super price!
Yes, that new Superman comic book was originally 10 cents in 1938 and sure that new Corvette was $4663.00 in 1968, even a gallon of milk ten years ago was a considerable amount less than what it is today. Most people realize it's not 1938, 1968 or even 1999 and that a lot of stuff has changed since then. I see many strategies and methods used to sell and it's sad when you see someone bash another to make money. I choose not to condemn others in attempt to make a sale. Using someone as a crutch to sell something reflects what kind of person you're dealing with. I truly apologize for having to say any of this but apparently some sellers can't sell anything without bashing another seller. I guess you just can't make a sellout care or have respect for something they have no passion about. When I look around I look to see who is improving things and it's always easy to see who isnt.
