Welcome to my world
and my auctions!
So glad you stopped by to see my auctions. I started selling
on Ebay in November of '98. I have met many wonderful people
here as a result. .
I am an wildlife artist who just happens to love to sell
jewelry, in fact I have been in jewelry sales since the mid
1970s. I spent years doing art and craft shows and mall shows,
opened my first gift shop in 1977(called Sherry's Designs) and
sold jewelry, art and gifts until I closed it in 1984 to go back
to school and study commercial art at the Seattle Art Institute.
My husband Stan and I moved back to Mount Vernon Wa in 2000. It
is my home town where my mother and son live. I just became a
grandmother for the first time in 2005! My Grandson is named
Zachary.
Besides that we have become a rescue home for cats. The
sick and injured seem to show up at our back door. We are are up
to 7 cats now. I just tell people I never lack a cat to pet
where ever I go in the house!
Artist Lines and the Animal Kingdom
Even though my store name is Sherry's Designs I don't
make everything I sell. Sorry to disappoint some of you. I just
love to explore and "discover" some wonderful lines to
sell. I am always seeking unique and hard to find designs by
other artists and am proud to present some really fantastic
pieces!
My love of animals (especially cats) has
shown up in my jewelry choices and you will always find the
unusual and unique designs in the animal kingdom here. My
nickname is "the cat lady" from my choice in my painting
subjects as well as rescuing the real thing now and then and
finding homes for them. I have worked closely with a local
animal rescue group, S.P.O.T. (Saving Pets One at a Time) who
finds homes for abandoned dogs and cats and even run their
Ebay Auctions for them to raise money.
