Gene Bauer (Co-Founder of Farm Sanctuary) with Todd (owner/founder Snow Deals Now), Denise, and Merrick at Farm Sanctuary in Watkins Glen, NY.


Our story starts in Park City UT where I was a snowboard coach and where I started selling used skis from local ski shops on Ebay in 1999. With modest beginnings as a "garage Ebayer", we have grown to become one of Ebay's largest ski and snowboard Powersellers. Our recipe for success has been our commitment to aggressive prices and our complete, comprehensive, and user-friendly item descriptions. The experience of completing 60,000+ successful ski and snowboard sales on Ebay has allowed us to create a customer-friendly transaction process that is guaranteed to be fast and hassle-free. We donate 10% of all sales (prior to fees, taxes, etc) to Farm Sanctuary. Farm Sanctuary is the leader in farm animal protection and we thank our buyers for helping to support their work. We are currently pursuing options for supporting a local animal organization. Our goal would be to live next to and provide financial support for a farm animal sanctuary, vegan restaurant, and/or humane education center in central PA.
