Bob Reynolds and Son Set Beach

Hi, my name is Bob Reynolds.

I currently live in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I own and operate a modest recording studio that goes by the name of Son Set Beach Productions.

I spent most of my life playing guitar in numerous genres. Some of the most exciting events I remember took place in the studio. For example I had the privilege of recording with some of the members from Count Basie Orchestra. This was pretty different as I was a young hard rock guitarist. You never know when your next gig will just appear. Being a musician is really a plus when it comes time to record other Artist. I think I ended up playing on half of the productions that I produced. It just seems to end up that way.

I built more studios than I can remember. I recently built a 1,500 square foot facility that has 5 rooms. The best part is that it is attached to my home in the North East Heights in Albuquerque. I have this great big cul-de-sac across the street from me that can comfortably park 4 or 5 large tour buses. Just do not tell my neighbors as this is a nice quiet neighborhood.

OK, about the Aliens. Musicians and Artists in general are a strange breed.

You can never predict when they will show up. They are loud and often scary. They have big teeth and they like to show them. Their addiction to caffeine is notable and they like to be on stage in the spot light.

These Aliens, for me anyway, come from far off lands. Some are close, some are from other countries. It is a growing trend with the evolution of Web Sites like MySpace.com and American Idol Underground that lets me and others communicate with these strange creatures. Their languages are difficult to understand and they dress funny. They sometimes smell bad and talk about strange events as though they can see into the future. Some really look fantastic and are pleasing to look at. Some will actually tell you what you are thinking because they can read our minds. Some wear masks and hood devises so you can not see their true identity. Again, this diversity is appealing to the Human Race and we are at their mercy sometimes to do their bidding. This is probably a good reason why I have worked for so many years as an Airline Pilot.

For me I have this Recording and Production Facility. We also have this Video Production division so we can document these wonderful personalities. Yes this is a different business and I would not have it any other way. The reason they come to New Mexico is still an unknown. I would hope it is because I have something to offer these travelers of sorts. I think it is more. I think it is because there is something bigger than all of us and they are searching for answers that do not have defined questions. Son Set Beach is not the answer. It is, however, a place that can produce world class results for those that are searching for an alternative to the normal world.

Remember to keep the faith and never give up. Use your given talents for the greater good and you will truly be rewarded. The Aliens have landed, yet the journey is still underway. The journey "is" the destination.
