Pacific Railroad Preservation Association

The Pacific Railroad Preservation Association (PRPA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, all-volunteer organization dedicated to restoring, maintaining, and operating historic railway equipment of the Pacific Northwest. We are the City of Portland's official caretakers of the SP&S 700, a 4-8-4 steam locomotive that ranks among the largest steam engines still in operation.  We are also engaged in educating and supporting the local community through educational programs such as "Operation Lifesaver" and community events featuring the SP&S 700. How You Can Help

Like what we're doing? Here's how you can show your support:

• Buy our Stuff - Whether buying donated and unique items here on eBay or selections from the regular concessions offerings on our own site, all proceeds will go to support the SP&S 700 and the mission of the PRPA.
• Donate Stuff - Many of the items we list on eBay and a good proportion of the items we offer in person at swap meets are books, videos, and other railroad-related collectibles donated to us by individuals. If you've got something you would like to contribute to the cause, please contact our concessions manager concessions@sps700.org to make arrangements.
• Join the PRPA - Become a part of our team! PRPA members receive our newsletter, Whistle Up the Columbia (4 issues per year) and are among the first to learn about planned excursions of the SP&S 700.
