News Update: In June 2007, Sun-Bits Company became an Authorized Internet Dealer for Wenger.  Wenger is one of two makers of The Genuine Swiss Army Knife and they have a full line of Wenger Swiss Watches.  Sun-Bits will be taking on both product lines.

In October 2007 I was very fortunate to be invited to eBay's San Jose headquarters to participate in their Voices of the Community program (a type of focus group).

Hi and thanks for visiting my About Me page for sun-bits . I joined eBay in 1999 and for the first few years mostly used eBay to buy unique items I couldn’t find in local stores.  Then I posted a couple of items for sale that were left-over from a garage sale and got hooked on selling!

Sun-Bits Company was established in 2004, but started developing and refining our customer service policies in 2003 here on eBay. Sun-Bits is based in Southern California, that's where the Sun in the name comes from. And if you think about the minutes and seconds a watch is measuring, those are little Bits of every day. Plus you might find a little Bit of California fun and Sun in every transaction!

It is easy to imagine being very interested in Rolex, Tag Heuer, Cartier, Piaget, and other high-end watches. Sun-Bits is different by being passionate about quality watch brands all of us can afford to own. Casio strives to put the most usable technology into each watch, like their Tough Solar system to recharge the watch battery. Timex Health and Fitness systems can function as a technical training partner and coach. And both Timex and Casio have watches that adjust themselves to synchronize with Atomic Clocks!  And when I can find a great value, I also offer Swiss Army Brand watches.  As noted above, Sun-Bits is an authorized Wenger internet dealer.  We carry Wenger Swiss watches and Genuine Swiss Army Knives (including the special edition Alinghi Yachtsman's Knife).  We are also a Suunto Authorized dealer specializing in their heart rate monitors and training aids.

Sun-Bits uses our own photographs of each watch offered for sale, this allows you to see every watch from more than one perspective. And you may find mini reviews or helpful comments in the watch descriptions. Each watch model is photographed, the manual reviewed, and many features are tested before a watch description is written. As a result, Sun-Bits delivers a personalized level of service that our customers have been raving about.

I strive to deliver excellent customer service with every sale.  Here are many of the things you’ll experience when you buy from Sun-Bits:

• Useful item descriptions and photos with sincere efforts to point out any flaws I am aware of.

• Unless otherwise noted in the listing (typically for vintage items), everything comes from a non-smoking environment.

• I respond to most emails within 4 hours during the business day.

• Fast notification to winning bidders.

• I pack items carefully and use computer-printed shipping labels to help ensure quick and accurate delivery.

• I ship 99% of items within 1-business day of receiving cleared payment, and notify any buyer if it will take more than 1 business day to get the package to the carrier.

• I send an email to buyers with detailed shipping information once the item is on the way.

• I provide some form of tracking information to every buyer.  At minimum I use USPS Delivery Confirmation for every package.  However tracking information typically is not available for international shipments.
