Our Mission
Tacoma Goodwill Industries helps people with disabilities or other special needs become productive and self-sufficient through education, training and job opportunities.
Since 1902, Goodwill's concept of building job skills, instead of giving handouts, has given people of all ages and backgrounds a chance to succeed. Tacoma Goodwill opened in 1921 as the 19th Goodwill in the United States, offering training and assistance for people with disabilities or disadvantages.
The cycle of donations, processing, resale and wages is still the backbone of Goodwill Industries. Goodwill receives more than 46 million pounds of donated goods each year. We fund most of our vocational programs through proceeds from our online sales and 20 stores, a packaging & assembly resource for businesses, an auto detailing shop and commercial custodial services. We proudly serve the citizens of 15 counties in Washington State.
How It All Works
All of the items up for auction from Tacoma Goodwill are donated. We try to the best of our ability to accurately describe our items. However, we are not experts, so please ask any specific questions prior to placing your bid.

PAY EASILY ONLINE using Visa or Master Card. We are unable to accept checks, money orders or cash. All payments must be made within 7 days to prevent the item from being automatically re-listed and your account automatically blocked from further bidding.

or our Tacoma Operations Center in Nalley Valley (T-F 10am-2pm excluding holidays).
ITEMS MUST BE PAID ONLINE BEFORE REQUESTING PICKUP. If you have multiple items, please email your pickup request at least one workday in advance to ehelpdesk@ourgoodwillstore.com. Items not picked up within 14 days of payment will be will be considered a donation and resold.
SHIPPINGPlease allow 5 workdays after payment for your item to be sent. If you have not received your item within 2 weeks, please let us know. We ship only via US Priority Mail Insured to provide the best combination of value, quick delivery, extra handling care, online tracking, and damage protection.
US Postal rates are based on the item weight, size, packing materials and distance. We are not responsible for additional delivery charges that may be required by USPS. Shipments are only sent to the address shown in your eBay account.
Items which are unclaimed or not-deliverable will be held pending further customer instructions and payment of any additional shipping charges. Items not shipped or picked up within 14 days will be considered a donation and resold.

REFUNDS, ADJUSTMENTS: Although all items are sold As-Is, your satisfaction is very important to us. Please contact Tacoma Goodwill about any problems within 7 days of receipt to request either an adjustment or to simply to provide us helpful feedback.
We regret that we can not refund shipping charges or accept responsibility for damages which occur after shipment. For your complete protection, all items are shipped Insured for up to $5,000 by Lloyds of London through Universal Parcel Insurance, a partner of the United States Postal Service. If you ever need to file a claim, simply contact Tacoma@shopgoodwill.com. Damage claims can be filed immediately. Lost parcels require waiting 21 days before filing.
We answer e-mail during our hours of operation Monday through Friday. Please allow a full business day (24hrs) for a reply. We are closed Saturday, Sunday and holidays.
