Team EA Fights Breast Cancer

The Avon Breast Cancer Crusade is our chosen charity, through the Avon Breast Cancer 3Day walk. In October, 2002, Team EA will participate in the New York Avon Breast Cancer 3Day Walk. Along with over 4000 of our soon-to-be closest friends, we will walk 60 miles in three days...raising money, awareness, and making a strong statement about breast cancer.

While we are all walking for different reasons, perhaps honoring a loved one who has battled this disease, we all agree on one thing:
We're motivated to fulfill this emotional and physical challenge for not only anyone who has fought breast cancer in the past, but for all the women (and men) who shouldn't have to fight it in the future.

We're walking for our daughters, our mothers, our nieces, ourselves.

The Avon Breast Cancer Crusade was created specifically to fund community based programs to provide education and early detection resources to women, primarily in under-served communities. Access to mammograms, training in how to perform a breast self-exam, and follow up and support for those who are found at risk are a few of the programs supported by the charity. Because of the magnitude of funds generated by the 3Day walks, the Crusade has branched out to fund critical research in the cause and cure for breast cancer.

Team EA's Goal We are committed to raising over $19,000 for our walk. All proceeds from eBay auctions will benefit the Avon Breast Cancer 3Day. Feel free to contact us with questions!
