As a second generation glass artist I found in creating art glass beads, the unexpected ability to merge two passions ~ working glass and wearable art.
"Wearable art glass" which can ultimately become a daily reminder of the fact that gentle beauty and art DO have a place in everyday life (and isn't everyday life what matters most)?
About me...
Without doubt creating sculptural beads became (and remains) my passion. Quite simply, they demand skill and provide challenge on both an artistic and technical level. Both exhilarating and at times insanity inducing, lol, they are the core of my work with beads....
From time to time you'll find my work offered here on ebay. I thoroughly enjoy meeting, talking to and working with designers, collectors, and those who simply love glass (you know who you are! lol!)
And tho it may sound a bit dramatic, it's also wonderful to work with those of you who appreciate the art, individual artistic style, and the often advanced skill (and related cost) of US artist created lampwork beads. Without you ~ the designers and collectors who have an educated eye (and heart!) ~ we who create these micro works of art in the fires with skills as old as time, would not have the joy of seeing the re-birth of passionate collecting and designs centered upon this ancient art....
