Now I'm in the USA again and sharing my wonderful Nepali finds and other brilliant buys through shops, eBay, and direct sales to individual customers. I engage in and support fair trade practices. Descriptions, Errors, and Omissions
I try to be as accurate as possible in describing and photographing each item offered for sale. The color and appearance of gemstones, handbags, shoes and other merchandise may vary from one computer monitor to the next, and they are purely subjective.
Unless the merchandise listing contains the phrase "exact measurement," it is possible that gemstone colors, sizes, and weights may vary. Ring sizes are accurate to the closest ½ size.
Please note that sterling silver handcrafted in Nepal may not always include the "925" mark. This is because some of the sterling silver jewelry Silver Lotus acquires from Nepal is produced by silversmiths using very simple tools and traditional techniques. Sometimes these artisans may not have the tools to stamp the silver because they serve a small local market.
Returns
My goal is to give you an outstanding buying experience. This means that everything possible is done to ensure accurate descriptions and photographs of all merchandise offered for sale.
I try very hard to make sure that what you see is what you get. However, if the merchandise you purchased is not as advertised or has been misrepresented, you may return it for a refund. See return instructions below and please note:
All returns are subject to inspection and verification – refunds are not given for items that have been worn, resized, altered, engraved, or damaged in any way.
Return Instructions
If there is a problem with the merchandise you purchased, please email right away so I can address the problem.
You must notify me no later than 7 (seven) days after you receive your merchandise. The date of receipt will be the delivery confirmation date provided by the USPS (or any other carrier used by Silver Lotus).
Please do not ship the merchandise until requested to do so. You are responsible for postage and insurance for merchandise you return.
When Silver Lotus receives the returned merchandise, an email will be sent to you informing you of delivery and of the condition of the merchandise, along with any other information that may affect the return process.
If a return is warranted, I will complete the process as quickly as possible, generally within 14 days of receipt and verification.
Refunds will be in the same form as payment (e.g. if you paid with PayPal, your refund will be through PayPal), unless YOU prefer a credit with Silver Lotus.
