Ozymandias



I met a traveler from an antique land

I am too alone in the world



I am too alone in the world, and not alone enough
to make every minute holy.

The world is too much with us; late and soon,

The common eye sees...



The common eye sees only the outside of things, and judges by that,
but the seeing eye pierces through and reads the heart and the soul,
finding there capacities which the outside didn't indicate or promise,
and which the other kind wouldn't detect.
