Ebay is raising store fees again, making it impossible for me to make a profit, so I'll be closing my store on Mar 29. I'm lowering prices on many items and having sales to liquidate my merchandise, so grab the seeds, scrapbooking supplies, Sizzix dies, and Plus Size clothing while you can.

Welcome to The Butterfly Ranch! I'm an avid, self-taught gardener. A lot of the plants I grow attract butterflies (as well as hummingbirds), and you can often find me chasing butterflies thru my gardens, with camera in hand. It's not unusual to see me transporting a butterfly around as it rides on my hand or shoulder. They seem to know that I only want to admire them, and they graciously allow me unique opportunities.

I began gardening several yrs ago by trial and error, knowing nothing about gardening at that time. I just planted something and if it died, I replaced it. If it lived, I was totally amazed! Surprisingly, much of it lived and my entire yard is now a botanical haven.

I'm now known as "that crazy plant lady". I've replaced all the grass in my yard with "bloomers". A member of the "No Mow Grass" society, I only grow ornamental grasses--pampas, maiden, mondo, etc. Daylilies are my main passion currently. I have about 500 cultivars and am dabbling in hybridizing. I'll soon be culling many cultivars from my gardens as I just don't have room for all of them. So soon I'll be listing daylilies on auction.
