Hi, and welcome to my about me page!  My name is The Captain, and I am here to lead you on a journey... a vintage journey.  My hobby is collecting and wearing vintage clothing, from the funny to the stylish, I like to collect and wear them all.  Unfortunately for me, I can't fit into everything that I buy, so I decided it was time to clean out my old treasure chest, and park my pirate ship here on the port of Ebay in the form of The Captain's Vintage. That's when I started my own portal to show the world all of the treasure that I had accumulated. I felt like this was very necessary, because so many others out there were fakin' the funk on the vintage clothing scene.  All of the stores I went to in real life were way overcharging for vintage clothing, and being a value minded person, I couldn't afford these places.  Also, many of the other places on the web sell t-shits that they have made themselves, and they are "retro" styled.  The fakers are all over the web, and they want you to believe that they are on the cutting edge, and that by purchasing a shirt that 500 other people already have, you are a truly unique individual.  We all know what I'm talking about, with their mullet superhero shirts and the like.  Some of these shirts are funny, but in reality they are just another mass produced fashion hype, no different than American Eagle and Ambercrobie and Fitch. So, I knew it was time to set the record straight, and bring  affordable, realistic vintage to the masses via the internet.  You know what I'm talkin' about... tight funny t-shirts, vintage adidas gear that would make RUN DMC proud, old school nike sneakers, and of course, throwback and vintage sports shirts.
