The First Tee has emerged as a premier youth development program. Since its inception in 1997, over four million participants, parents/guardians, staff, volunteers, coaches and physical education teachers have been exposed to The First Tee Nine Core Values and life skills taught through The First Tee within a network that includes over 250 facilities and nearly 700 affiliate relationships with existing golf courses, as well as over 900 elementary schools engaged through The First Tee National School Program.
