The Paper Tiger

The business began in 1978 when Peter bought and began the restoration of an 1878 Queen Anne Victorian house, still crammed full of " old stuff". The part-time mail order business soon blossomed into a full-time career as local attorneys contacted him to do appraisals and estate liquidations.


Wendy joined the business in 1995, leaving a 15 year career in systems management to turn a life-long antique collecting hobby into a business.


The Paper Tiger has developed a "Tag Sale" aspect of the business where we work with executors and attorneys to liquidate the contents of houses, always leaving the premises clean and ready to be shown to prospective buyers. Through eBay, we have extended this service, offering an "On-Line Tag Sale" as an option when taking on new projects. We offer a wide range of "fresh to the market" merchandise to collectors and dealers worldwide.
