There are numerous grassroots organizations and programs all over the world with the desire, willingness, and proximity to provide clean drinking water to those in need, but lack the financial and technical resources to do so. Thirst Relief International bridges this gap by providing the necessary training and infrastructure development to launch a water project, and then the ongoing funding and project management to sustain the project as part of a long-term partnership. In simple terms, we bring water projects into reality that otherwise may never get off the ground, and then stick by them to ensure they are successful. All of Thirst Relief International's water projects are implemented using our proven partnership operating model, whereby we work in conjunction with capable and trustworthy missionaries, churches, and other non-governmental organizations (NGO's) interested in providing clean drinking water as part of their social assistance programs. These field partners are already operating at the point of need, and provide the advantages of language understanding, cultural sensitivity, and established relationships with the beneficiaries. As an integral piece of the partnership, the field partners help identify clean drinking water needs, provide input to formulate the best clean water solutions, and ultimately implement the clean water solutions at the point of need. The result - an extremely effective and efficient way to provide clean drinking water to those in need around the world.
