Hi Everyone! My name is Susan and I am 49 years old. (ugh) I guess I am the "brains" behind Threadbare Primitives. Though my husband swears HE is the brains behind TBP...to give credit where credit is due, he DOES do all the computer stuff. My dear husband lists my auctions, takes the pictures, converts my patterns to paper and e patterns, AND takes care of ALL the stuff on my website. Sooo...thanks Kenny! Luv ya! Gosh...if I could teach him to think this stuff up and sew, I could just sit in my recliner and watch soaps all day...I need to work on that!
I have been designing/creating ever since I can remember. I wake up thinking about what to design next and go to bed thinking about how to put it together. I guess you could say I'm obsessed with primitives. I really love making things that can be turned into patterns so that EVERYONE can make them. And I want to thank ALL of you who have purchased my paper patterns, epatterns, and finished work....I am always so grateful to my customers...you gals are #1!!!
I am so thrilled to have been chosen to be the "Featured Designer" for "Homespun" magazine...June Issue. As a result I made the front cover, and the pattern for the featured design has been included in the magazine. They included a lovely write up about my pattern business and website. It was such an honor and I am so thankful to have been chosen.
