Hi everyone! I thought it was about time I put up an about me page. I've gotten to know so many of my customers and thought they might like to know a little more about me.
My name is Jennifer and I'm a single parent of two teenagers. I've been a Graphic Designer since the mid 1980's. Yep big hair, punk bands, leggings and headbands galore! As a matter of fact when I was in Design School we didn't even have computers!!!! I know, so hard to comprehend!
I originally started selling on ebay to appease my family who were tired of "my pack rat ways". And that's why my store is named The Sassy Pack Rat. Ebay has helped me clear out but also has added to my pack rat nest.
I have an out of control love for toys (especially from the 70's) books and Japanese jewelry boxes from WWII. And I'm a Garage/Estate Sale Junkie.
One day I was surfing around and saw personalized stationery stores on ebay. OMG that was for me! I've been doing the same thing for years, for family and friends, for my freelance clients and for myself. I couldn't believe the opportunity that was available! I could finally have control of my designs and do anything I wanted.
I do draw a large portion of the art in my store. The rest is by other fantastic artists and I always give credit to the artist or company I purchase from. This is only fair and right. I also expect that everyone will repect my intellectual rights and not steal my designs.
So here I am and I'm so very grateful for the wonderful people who have made being on ebay such a pleasure!
I offer personalized note cards, flat card, invitations, memo sheets, enclosure/calling/mommy cards, gift stickers and address labels galore! I also offer custom art for your very special invitation or note card set.
The little pup is my precious Carmelita. I'm NOT a dog person but I don't know how I ever got along without her. She keeps me company in my office by sleeping on the daybed, reminding me to get up every once in a while and making sure we "Go for a ride?!" to the Post Office every day.
