Been reading and collecting comics since forever, but got really started in 1966 when I was 13 (you do the math)! Bought back issues of my favorite comics? Why? I wanted to READ 'em!! Sometime along the way the collector took over from the reader! Sold a lot of my collection about 1980. Moved to Japan. Came home four years later and built the collection up again. Bought and read and accumulated.

In 1999 I started to sell my collection-- pieces of it. OK, big pieces of it. Then started buying collections and selling more, rented warehouse space to hold it-- and while it doesn't pay the mortgage, I spend my spare time doing what I enjoy: handling comics, selling and making money as well as building a satisfying part-time gig! I enjoy what I do a helluva lot!!
