FAST CONTACT: Once the auction is over an invoice will be sent to you within 12hrs. In most cases, the invoice will go out immediately. If purchasing multiple items please let me know and please wait for my combined invoice before making payment.
WELL PACKAGED: All paper items are securely packaged for safe, secure international travel using sturdy packing materials. For the majority of print items offered you can choose between rolled or flat shipment. Records and CDs are sent in sturdy custom-made cardboard mailer boxes and posters are sent in sturdy poster tubes. All items are packaged with equal care and protection.
FULL DOCUMENTATION: All promo ads, articles etc., come with full source magazine documentation. Magazine title, month and year of issue information is included (on a separate piece of paper, not written on the page itself) for your reference.
HIGH QUALITY: Unless otherwise noted in the item description all paper items offered are in pristine condition. No stains, tears or creases. I doubt that you'll find better condition items. If there is any wear, this will be clearly stated in the item description.

For paper items (ads, articles, pinups, flyers) I charge one flat rate worldwide shipping charge no matter how many paper items purchased - 1 to infinity!. Don’t think you can beat that. For heavier items I charge you weighed shipping cost and will gladly combine items to save you money. All shipping costs are clearly indicated in the item description. No surprises.
FAST SHIPPING: Upon receipt of payment I do my best to ship items out within 2 to 4 business days. Shipment from Japan normally takes approx. 1 week to any corner of the world.

A BIT ABOUT ME:
Well my name is Tim of course and I live smack dab in the middle of Rockin' n Rollin' Tokyo (I refer to both the abundance of great music here as well as the frequent earthquakes!). I've been here for just over 29 years now. For most of those years I've been involved with music, both as a translator/interpreter and writer. I've also mucked about in a few bar bands over the years. So what exactly does eBay and a pile of old mags have to do with all this? Well, when I first arrived in Tokyo as a kid all those years ago, my love of music, and music mags in particular, took me to the local bookstore where I immediately fell in love with Japanese music mags such as Music Life and Ongaku Senka. They helped take the place of the sorely missed Rolling Stone, Creem and Circus mags that I had left behind back in Canada. But they were better. Huge and brightly colored, they opened the wrong way (cool!) and were full of super glossy pics of all my favorite bands. I basically owe my present career as a translator to these mysterious Day-Glo colored mags as wanting to read them was what started me on the road to learning Japanese. Over the years I've built up quite a collection of these mags with more being added all the time. This collection has become what I now call the "archive" and what my wife calls "that huge pile of old magazines". Discovering eBay provided me with a way to tame the pile. Or so I thought at the time. The plan was simple: I would keep what was of interest to me (i.e., what brought back the fondest memories of my teen years) and offer the rest to others. Somehow however, the pile is now at least three times higher than when I started. But I'm having fun. I get to relive my youth and while doing so, get to meet all sorts of interesting collectors and music lovers from all over the world. People just like you!
