TS Gizmo - What's in a name?

    People often ask me what "tsgizmo" means. When I first started selling on Ebay in 1993, I had no idea that selling a few things around my house that I didn't need anymore would turn into an actual business. So, when choosing my username I picked something important to me - my dog, Gizmo.

    Gizmo was a great dog: a little protective, a little crazy, a little overly food motivated, but a really loyal and loving beagle. And when he laid on his back and his ears stuck up, he looked just like Gizmo from the movie Gremlins. So that's where his name came from. As for my ebay id - "Gizmo" was a little too common, it was already taken. So after a few tries, tsgizmo was accepted, with "t" and "s" standing for 'the special'.

Barnum, Bailey, and Anzu

    Unfortunately, Gizmo developed a brain tumor and died in June of 2004 at the age of 12. A year later, I rescued a lab mix puppy Bailey. And then a few months later adopted a kitten, Barnum. They get along great and are somewhat tolerated by my husband's cat Anzu. All three absolutely love their new baby human brother, Jack.
