In Memory of Cynt....

Welcome to my About Me Page.  It's been over a 3 years since I started my adventure here on eBay as a seller specializing in handbags/purses, accessories, shoes, designer and costume jewelry.  My anniversay of becoming a PowerSeller is coming up on September 10th- YEAH! I am in the legal field full-time, but I do this part-time as I have a passion for shopping, especially handbags. It all started when I was in fourth grade.  I won a math contest for having perfect scores for the month and my teacher gave me a cloth shoulder bag with appliqués.  I still have that shoulder bag in safe keeping.  That was the beginning of my  LOVE of HANDBAGS, and I am great in math!!! I also LOVE beautiful and unusual pieces of jewelry - designer and costume ~ anything with flair and detail    I am a one (1) person operation and do it all from shopping, taking pictures, preparing the description, listing the item, answering all emails, closing the deal, packaging, and shipping.  However, my most important job is the follow up with my buyers.  I am dedicated to making sure that my customers receive their item and are happy with their purchase.  If there are any issues, I will resolve.  All I ask is that people communicate with me.  If you have an issue and don’t let me know, how can I fix?

I don't want to use his name, but there is a very well-known real estate mogul who advises that in order to be successful in life to find what you have a passion for and that passion will guide you to a lucrative future.  I think he is right for the most part as long as you treat people with respect and dignity.  If you do, you will get that in return. I know that if I treat every buyer the same, whether they are buying a 99 cents item or a $250 item, that I have done my job to the best of my ability, they will remember me, and the rest will fall into place.  I have met many wonderful people so far along this short journey from all over the world and eBay's motto that all people are basically good is true.  I know there are exceptions, but you always have to give the benefit of the doubt.  I see the glass as half full.  You get what you give in life.

I absolutely love my weekly hunts to find items to list.  MY HUSBAND CAN NO LONGER GIVE ME A HARD TIME ABOUT SHOPPING!!!! YEAH!!!  I get so excited when I am in the midst of a mound of accessories looking for things that just have a ‘punch’ to it as the details are what make accessories special.  I purchase my accessories from estates, consignment shops, and high-end department stores.  

There are many successful sellers here on eBay that will only sell the very top designer items.  I sell many of them, but I also sell items that are less expensive, but also very nice, as not everyone is fortunate enough to purchase a $1,000 bag or have the desire to. 

I am always open to suggestions and if anyone is looking for something in particular, please let me know. 

I am a girly girl (lady)!  I have two (2) boys, who are actually young men now, Blake and Taylor, so I never got to put ribbons in hair or buy frilly dresses.  Once my boys have their careers on track, then maybe I will have a granddaughter that I can do the girly, girl thing, but no hurry, as I am a young 48 years old. 

My only sister, Cynt (officially Cynthia) passed away 12 years ago at age 43 of Breast Cancer, leaving behind a grown son, Steve, and two (2) daughters, Ashley and Dayne, who were 22, 18, and 16 at the time of their mother’s passing.  So Ashley and Dayne became like daughters to me.  I am a very big advocate of Breast Cancer research and many things have changed and much progress has been made since my sister's passing. For my peace of mind and the peace of mind of my family, I won’t even go into the ‘what if’s”, but if the medical researchers had the knowledge then as they do now ~ you get the picture.

I have a true passion for people and have never understood 'why people can't get along' as it is so easy.
