The US Postal Service maintains an inventory of spare parts to support automated mail processing equipment. As with any inventory system, we have parts that become excess to our needs.
These excess parts are periodically purged from our inventory depot in Topeka, KS and are then sold via auction.
In order to provide an opportunity to a larger public audience, the Postal Service in partnership with eBay, will offer these excess parts for sale online.
