Meet my staff! Just like those gigantic corporate mail order houses, I like to trot out my staff once a month and demonstrate what a wonderful family type organization we are (if a bit demanding at times). (Plus, since we're about 1000 times smaller, I won't have to update this section for a few years!)
Fred is the newest junior executive in the organization. He brings with him street smarts combined with a love of luxury to our winning corporate strategy.
Ed whets our corporate appetite with years of experience sampling the flavors of the world's goodies.
Sangy is our senior advisor, seen here with Ed at one of our daily staff planning sessions, during which we rely on her for her thoughtful, well-chewed insights. We are all eager to provide quality service with that personal, soft and furry touch -- in fact, each of us is so personally involved in pleasing you that it's hard not to leave a bit of ourselves in every package which leaves our door!
Why am I here?
What a concept -- I can go shopping (in the brick-and-mortar world), find something I love (usually something unique, gently-used but character-rich), and I don't have to pass it by just because my house isn't big enough to hold it -- I can share it with you! It's a blast to take a photo of a cool thing, describe it as perfectly as I can, and sell it to someone who shares my taste.
Fairness is my middle name!
Well, not really -- I'm having a hard enough time trying to come up with a first name on eBay, much less add a second that suits me. But, like I said above, I do this because it's fun. I'm satisfied when you're satisfied! If you are not satisfied with your item, return it within 7 days in its original packaging for a refund of its winning bid price (amount you sent to me to buy it originally, minus the shipping/handling fee). If my description is in error, I'll also refund your shipping costs. I won't sell junk and I don't cheat.
Fast, Flexible, Fast Shipping!
Did I say fast? It's because I always ship within 3 business days of receiving payment -- and usually within 1 day. Also, I'm pretty close to UPS, USPS, and Fedex, so I am flexible about which carrier and rate to use -- just let me know before paying.
Combined shipping available!
Buy more than one item and SAVE on shipping! I'll remove the per-item packaging fees if I have to ship the items in separate boxes. If I can ship them together, you
pay the cost of shipping the single package. Let me know your intentions and I will email you at the end of all wins with the updated shipping fees.
Items must be won within 7 calendar days of each other or original low shipping
fees will apply.
No eBay "Fee Avoidance" Here!
Notice that I do not pad my prices with excessive shipping and
handling fees to drive up my profits and keep my insertion fees low. Once I get to the post office, if they ask me for more money than I asked you, whatever the amount, then I make up the difference. If I've overestimated by less than a dollar or two, then I ship at a faster rate. I'll return the excess to you if I overestimate by more than a couple of dollars. My main concern is that the package gets to you without problems and intact. My prices are upfront and I check my email
several times a day for your questions!
Friends helping friends ...
Another reason I'm here is to help out my favorite people -- friends who don't have the facilities to set up their own eBay accounts but who do have some fantastic items. Depression glass from their grandmothers' cupboards, original prints and other wall decor that don't fit into their new digs, vintage fashions, toys, cookbooks ... you name it, they're from buddies I trust, so you can too!
Meanwhile, back at the warehouse (er, office) ... ... From time to time, I'll actually begin cleaning up the clutter in my goodies-holding room and will offer ridiculously low starting bids on some excellent vintage items -- so ridiculous, in fact, that they won't be offered again. Look for the piggybank symbol -- -- and you'll find that even for these bargain bin goodies, my shipping costs are very low. I'm not making up for low bids with padded shipping fees. Look below at my feedback, and you'll find my reputation as a reliable seller is sky high! So bid with confidence, and quickly, before these exceptional sales disappear.
From time to time I also offer DEEP DISCOUNTS on shipping or even FREE SHIPPING, so come back often!
By the way ... Have you also checked out YesterYearsGoodies Books & more at Half.com? You'll find more goodies there, mainly good and cheap books and movies!
