And a heartfelt thank you for visiting my "about me" page!  If you got here by way of a link from one of my listings, then I'd also like to extend a warm thank you for your interest!  I look forward to the privelege of serving you!  Ebay is a wonderful community of a lot of great people working together.  And since it is truly a community, I would just like to introduce myself briefly, so that you get to know the person behind the auction.

My name is Roland.  I am a disabled man, a US Veteran, and I occasionally supplement my income by reselling good quality merchandise, mostly vintage item with the occasional new/newer item thrown into the mix.  I have been buying, selling and trading antiques, collectibles and vintage merchandise for over 30 years now.  I have bought, sold and traded at a variety of venues including private estate sales, flea markets, antique shows, and various online venues including here on eBay.  I have been an active ebay community member since 1999.

In addition to obtaining many of my items from a variety of different reputable sources (mostly estates)...more recently, I have also begun the process of thinning out my own collections, many of which have been ongoing for a few decades.  I've thoroughly enjoyed every minute of accumulating and collecting my assortments of this and that, but it's now time to "lighten the load a bit", as the saying goes!  And so, it is with great pleasure that I pass them along to you...where they may be welcomed into the next good home.

Just a brief note on the auction terms I have listed...There is nothing out of the ordinary there.  It may look a bit lengthy, but I wanted to give the detailed information for those who like extra information.  However, I've also divided it into smaller segments for those who like to skim.

Also, the terms are spelled out not so much to say what I expect of others, but rather to to let you know what others can expect of me. I also believe the way it's been laid out also demonstrates tangible proof of my detail-oriented commitment to you.

Additional Info on Items and Descriptions
My goal when describing items, is to look for and give you the exact same information about an item that you would be looking for if you were picking up and looking at that item yourself.  I have bought, sold and/or collected a lot of different types of items and I know there are a lot of "entry points" into any type of collection. I know that sometimes people want to make a low cost "starter" entry, or they may want to just fill a vacant spot on a shelf for now with a $4.99 looker item and then replace it with the $500 keeper items later, etc.
