Back to previous page  A Little Background I live in Atlanta, Georgia and have run a frame shop/art gallery in Decatur for over 30 years. After graduating high school, I intended to get a degree in illustration, but family and business led me on a different path. Not until several years ago, did I start painting again - after a long 15+ years of a dry spell. On January 1st of 2004, I did my first oil painting and I haven't stopped since. I pretty much paint whatever strikes me as interesting. I like to paint realism, but strive to keep it loose and more vivid in color. I'd say I enjoy doing figurative pieces most of all - regular people in everyday scenes in our everyday lives. The interiors of restaurants, the staff, cooks, chefs - the scenes of retail, storefronts and shoppers - people just doing their thing. I take photographs every where I go and just love to people-watch and observe different body shapes, movements, how they react to the world around them. I have such a hunger to paint all that I see, progressing along the way. A large portion of the pieces I do are for galleries - but when I'm able, I try to always have something on auction of for sale in my eBay store. So please put my Ebay store on your favorite searches. I appreciate your interest very much.   My Ebay Experience I had bought artwork on Ebay for years. Not until mid-2003 did I attempt to sell my own work - and to date, I've had buyers in 41 of the 50 United States. That is remarkable to me. A number of my paintings have been placed in art galleries around the country - the exposure is unbeatable. I really enjoy the direct communications with the buyers and have met very nice people and many talented artists along the way. And a big Thank You to all my buyers and collectors for their support.
